Waxing and hair removal products are the only other alternatives. More important than waxing making the hair thicker, in older women the skin tends to start loosening up, and one can actually wax some of the skin off with the hair. Using hair removal products such as Nair, or Surgical cream can be complicated. If your skin is sensitive it can burn it, and with some of those products you have to follow really intense directions like not using soap or makeup or other skin products for so many hours before or after using it. A friend of mine swears by Nair. She has tried all the products. I just tweeze the suckers whenever they interfere with my makeup finish. It's no different than using an epilator, and is a lot less time consuming.

Shave! No just kidding. I think the best answer is waxing. I haven't noticed it getting thicker and that is what I have done. You also may try not using makeup on that area as it seems to make it worse. Good luck. I am sure that you notice it more than anyone else dose. Overall I think waxing is your best answer.

try using a facial version of Nair. It isnt waxing, but it will take off the hair, is totally painless, and won't make the hair thicker or more prominant. Just make sure you don't have very sensitive skin, or it might get irritated.

Waxing does not make it thicker and more noticeable, shaving does. Waxing will make the hair finer and less noticeable. Also, if you are having this problem now, it will probably only get worse with time. It's bothering you, why not try electrolysis?

If u don't want 2 wax try using Sally Hansen's hair remover cream. Don't leave it on too long read directions carefully and don't re use within 24-48 hours to avoid irritation.

tweeze chin hairs, bleach mustache. Or, go ahead and shave if you're willing to make it a daily thing. Waxing will make it worse, and there are no garauntees that electrolysis or laser hair removal is permanent. A lot of it depends on the thickness or coarseness of the hair.

Waxing is effective, but depending on your skin tone it may cause hyperpigmentation. Laser hair removal is typically only good for with with fair skin and dark hair.

Nair for facial hair works really well!!!!!! It leaves your face smooth for a long time and the hair doesn't grow in thicker or anything.
