so my friend knows i like her. i asked her out back in january and she said no but she wasnt ready for dating because she was reeling from a breakup. since then we have grown prety close. we go to dinner and movies together but she pays for herself. she give sme tight hugs. whgat should i do? i dont thinkn she wants to date neone right now cause were both in college an hour apart. so what should i do

I would guess that now is not the time to try and take this relationship to the next level. Stay friends and you never know -- plenty of people eventually end up with their friends!!
If you push it, she might get freaked out and break it off totally, but if you give her more time you might be building a stronger foundation for a good relationship later.

You should tell her your feelings. Since you both are friends there are instance that might happen, so be aware. If you tell her about your feelings toward her she might put a gap between your freindship, there might be a little changes. Or if she accepted you, thats would be good. Just remember, just expect the unexpected. You might loss a friend and gain a girlfriend or you can loss it both. Be carefull in taken those risk.

The tight hugs mean that she is into you. If you are willing to go the distance to see her, I'd bet she is willing to do the same.

tell her your feelings. but don't put all of your eggs in one basket. you're in college so there is plenty of other single girls to choose from. don't wait around for something that may not happen. be as honest and up-front with her as you can, that will help you figue this out sooner. hope this helps.
