Your eyes just fall open and it is not like you are on earth. You are in your own little world. If you do tell me and what they are about.

I get them all the time though. I have not told anyone and they just look at me like I am an idiot. They really scare me.

It is pretty normal, actually, and can be from a bunch of things. As someone already said it could just simply be your imagination. It could also be a fear that has somewhat gotten out of control. Surprisingly enough, however, it could be a side effect of being a perfectionist (if you are one). People who have the need to be "perfect" and always "in control" will easily feel a complete loss of control from even the smallest things - like a messy house - and to this type of person when one things feeld out of control very quickly EVERYTHING seems out of control. When this happens your brain and body are on a type of overload and your short term memory seems to go and you can go in to bouts of serious paranoia and anxiety - this could last hours, days, months.
If you tend to be a bit of a perfectionist or have OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) at all I would really suggest speaking to a counselor - even if it's one of those free anonymous help lines and try to figure out how to re-teach your brain that the world isn't over just because everything isn't perfect.
Good luck and God bless!

you should seek counselling. i'm sure there are others who experience these images, but i don't believe that it's the norm. especially if you are feeling confused and scared by these images. don't be afraid to seek help, there are many low cost options. check with your local hospital. good luck to you.
