It's not really a big deal. For all we know, the civilian buying uniforms online might be a prior service that wants his uniform again. Maybe this person is interested in military things. It's not against the law, however... if a civilian was to impersonate it might be a different story. I'm not a genius in the law, but none the less, if a civilian was too imitate a service member it would be insulting.

But which kind of uniform? BDU, ACU, CADPAT, MARPAT, Marine Formal Uniform, Navy Formal (Dress/Mess) Uniform, Air Force Combat Uniform? Or is it even US Military uniform? NATO?
