Well, there are some great breads you can make with veggies - pumpkin, zuccini lemon, etc. I know a woman who gives her kids fruit smoothies and puts a few veggies in the blender at the same time. I have had luck frying veggies along with chicken pieces when I make chicken nuggets for my kids - carrots particularly and sweet potato fries. How about finely chopped in regular food? A little spinach in the spaghetti sauce, chopped carrots in the meat loaf. How about leaf spinach on his sandwiches instead of lettuce?

You can also get that green veggie goodness into him by giving him Chlorophyl. I have seen it in liqui-pill form and minty liquid form. These days with all the pesticides and stuff that are in non-organic produce (and the high cost of organic produce) Chlorophyl and a good multi vitamin might be your best bet.

Peace!

Don't try and trick him by disguising it...kids are not silly! It's one thing where you really have to be the boss. Give him veges and don't offer him anything else until he's eaten at least some. It's just a matter of changing his tastes. I have a cousin who ate no veges (his mum never made him) and he was in a serious car accident and the doctor said his recovery time would have been at least halved if he had eaten veges and had the vitamins he needed. Get your son to help you prepare the veges - maybe even grow your own, kids are much more likely to be interested in something they've helped produce. But remember, you're the mum and you know he needs them, so don't feel bad about being tough!

I'm done a few things and some work for each of the kids...

Mix is up with the food - completely puree it and mix it in
Only serve vegetables. It won't hurt them to not eat for a day and they'll get hungry enough.
Then step up to the reward system - serve lots of veggies and very little of anything else. They get more of the other if they eat the veggies.
