people who serve their country should be respected for being willing to die for their country and protect the freedoms we enjoy. so if you disagree with a war or policy why rag on the military? why not rag on the politicians who sent these barave men and women to war, they are just following orders. many soldiers dont agree with the war either but they follow orders because they love their country.

i completely agree with spc thril. my hubby is in iraq now, fighting for me to sit here, FREELY, to get on the computer ,FREELY, and talk, FREELY.
My hubby fights for all you mfers out there that say soldiers are pieces of **** and deserve to die. he fights for you to protest against him@@
why would you say such harsh things about soldiers, have YOU ever fought to protect THEM? have you ever slept in a sleeping bag with a chemical suit on for over 12 hrs??
have you ever wondered if you were going to die on a hour to hour basis> to all those that condem the military, be glad there is a military or we would all be under some communist control, or hitler!!
in america, we are called the land of the free, because of the brave. think about that some day you get a nice big fat pay check, cause our army makes roughly $3 a hour, no overtime or time and a half, they go to work away from their loved ones for 6 months to a yr, with no privledges of 'american life', they have to eat MRE'S yr long. They dont get to kiss their wives, or husbands or children, they don't get to cuddle up in a nice bed, or even stay warm or cool .
I support every soldier, past , present and future!!!

We don't rag the brave men and women over there, we do rag the politician.
the only times we rag the soldier is if there is a scandal, like Abu Ghrab (sp?)
but most of the time, we admire what soldiers are doing over there. I mean one guy jumped on a gernade to save his fellow troops. If somebody talks crap about him, ill jump em.

I'm an Iraq Vet and I dont really pay attention to the people that rag on me for fighting Bush's war(which I dont agree with). I fight so that they can enjoy the right to rag on me, so the way I see it, they're supporting me by voicing their opinions. I wont lie, half the time I wanna sock em in tha face, but I'm getting better and havent hit anyone over it yet.

I respect our brave men and women. I respect the president of this country. I even respect the Congress and Senate even if I do not agree with everything. We could all start having a little respect for all of these people.I respect the flag and believe we should say the Pledge of Alliegance to it. After all this is where we live, with our families and children.

i think being in the forces they should have to think wht is rite n wht is wrong...not just following the orders.....i think they should have rite to use their brains.........we condemn them only for not using their brains.....i would preferred to be court martialed on killing some innocent people for following some stupid orders.....
