No, you can't. When your license is suspended in any one state, your right to operate is automatically suspended in all states.
This may adversely impact your Navy career. If your duties require you to operate a vehicle, you won't be able to if you don't have a valid civilian license. And if the Naval authorities find out about the conviction that caused your 7 year suspension -- that would have to have been serious -- your Navy career may well be over.

Fury73, The answer to your question is YES. When you have an encounter with Law Enforcement, your I.D. or D.L. is run through N.C.I.C. and Interpol, and if you have a suspension, it will show up no-matter what State your in. You should also be aware that in some States, driving on a suspended license is a jailable offense. The additional dis-advantage to this is that IF, your arrested, your car and belongings will be impounded and held for a period of 90 days, after that everything not "Legally" defined as personal, will be sold at auction or taken home by Tow Operators. So YES IT WILL BE FOUND.

Yes!
I was told that Calif., Nev., and Arizona share (play ball together)but this is not true. I also think the severity of you're offenses have a bit to do with it.
A friend had his license suspended in Nevada, but was allowed a Calif license, they did check for all citations, violation, and warrants current must be cleared or in process off. And obtained it after the fact.

I don't think so. You have to put in your ss# when you get drivers license and it will pull up that yours have been suspened. I have an uncle that went through this and another state wouldn't let him get one

Some states will not allow you to and they will actually run a check with other states.

Yes. I did it when I was your age. All you have to do is take test in another state. (written & driving) Drive more responsibly next time.

Call the other state's DMV and ask. Don't give your name.
