I usually buy the spiced rum but this time I just went with the original Bacardi rum. It seems stronger, like I can only drink 2 shots not the normal 3 I get away with the spiced stuff. Has anyone else noticed this?

The reason it tastes Stronger is because it is. Bacardi gold Rum is 80 Proof, Bacardi White Rum is 75 Proof, while Bacardi Spiced Rum is only 70 Proof.

The reason flavored rums are lower in alcohol percentage is because of the sugar added to make the flavoring.

The red Bacardi is spicier. To be consumed dry and chilled.
The white Bacardi, is to be taken with some coke to spice it, and develop its aroma.

Rum is going truly properly with very almost any fruit juice. Stick it interior the blender and make frozen beverages with orange juice, pineapple juice, cranberry juice, or get imaginitive and combine and journey. Rum and coke is a incredibly widely used drink upload a lime for somewhat greater style.
