It has to be somewhere close to Round Lake Beach, IL, at the most two hours away. I really want to take my family to one for Christmas, so if you can help me I would appreciate it so much.

Thanks and Good Luck

I can't answer the question but have an idea for you if you don't get a good answer. Several years ago a friend held a Murder Mystery Dinner at her home. She purchased a MMD kit. It comes with game rules, invitations --- which she chose the characters (8) -- and the guest are given an outline of their parts and are invited to dress as their characters. You follow clues and get to ask questions. We had so much fun! My husband turned out to be the murderer and I found out he was a really good liar. If your family is like this group that participated you would too. There are several "games" to choose from. I imagine you could find one on line or locally.

Good Luck!! And have Fun. It's a great idea.

Hey you can try woodstockoperahouse.com they have a Agatha Christie's mystery called , "The Mousetrap." They are really fun, you and your family get a character to play and you have to gather all the clues to solve the mystery and find the murderer! There is supposed to be one in McHenry,IL I think it is called the Mystery Train, but I am not sure so you would have to check more into it. Anyways hope you find one and have a Merry Christmas with your family!!

I've been to MANY Murder Mystery Dinners (perhaps 30 of them), and feature by no means visible clues passed out in any respect. The visitors (or actors) are given a position to play. Other individuals watch what is going on, and feature a time to be capable to impeach or speak with the individuals taking part. They determine who "dunnit" from looking and wondering......
