and, where did that phrase come from?

can not believe you just wrote that?.....I am almost 46, and when I was a kid up north, right at ten o'clock a siren would go off, and "kids"(assuming under 18) had to be in their homes or yards, etc. and the commercial on the tv would be "its 10 o'clock, do you know where your children are?"....I haven't thought of that for years!!!!

It was a public service address but it was "It's 9 o'clock" not 12 o'clock. Yes, I do know where my children are. Where are you?

There used to be a billboard and ads in the late 50s and early 60s, as a way to curb juvenile delinquency. It was actually "It's 10 o'clock..."

I don't know where that phrase came from, but I know where my son is. He's at home with his lovely wife and my two beautiful grand children.

They still show this on Fox at 10p; it came from the 1950s and the obsession with "juvenille delinquency". And my children are sleeping.
