I need to send an attachment to my professor but she said that it has to be in pdf format. I don't have a clue where to start.

You could always download and install OpenOffice from OpenOffice.org (free). The knock-off of Word (which really does work very well) allows you to save in PDF format.

You download it, install it, open up your document in OpenOffice Writer, then do a File | Export to PDF (or use the icon on the tool bar). Pretty simple.

If you've got the time, it's free....

i'm advantageous the laptop on which the record is being opened does no longer have Adobe Acrobat Reader put in on it. it rather is unfastened & might properly be downloaded. yet i'm amused the style you made a record with pdf as extension? Did you scanned them and saved them by way of Abby great Reader or Omni internet site etc. in case you have purely replaced the extension, than i'm afraid you will could deliver it back.

She can convert from MS word. Professors are always so difficult and picky. I am willing to bet your campus can help. Unless, this is an online course. There are many converters available on line now. Try Cnet.
