Where has the aspect of family in our society gone wrong in terms of human connection?

I have to write an essay about society and how we need to be better connected. I was just wondering what are your opinions as to where the aspect of family has gone wrong in society in terms of human connection?? I mean, theres the basic people are having children but not marrying, people living single, men and women abandoning their children, family is no longer a connected unit like in the past...but what else?

I think the advent of technology has created a gulf among family members because children are raised in front of a tv, or a computer, video games, gameboys, xboxes, and the like. Families allow children to chat online, email friends, text message, and IM'ing. Even with non family members, I think people have less friends, seldom get to know their neighbors ect., Society has also eroded to the point where I'm not sure that children are taught that you get married before you have children, or when you have children, you abandon all else to raise them. It sort of seems like everyone is simply out for themselves.

How honest do you want to be? The femiNazis & killul hashem lawyers destroyed this country. Changed the laws & now everyone is calling the police for argueing? While women are getting more jobs, more men are getting laid off and/or their jobs outsourced.

The attack on the middle class has to originate somewhere. Find it & you have an original thesis. What else? It's all connected to money.
Divorced fathers are not allowed to talk to their children. But this is not politically correct so you don't hear about it.

Why not talk about the witch hunt against males? Why not talk about the Politically correct who are funded by Corporate America?
Why not talk about Corporate America that is anti-family?

Often truth is in front of our nose. People, myself included, are too afraid to see truth.

The most dangerous thing that has gone wrong is that parents aren't connected to their children as parents! They want to be their child's friend. Hello, parents, welcome to reality, your child has a lot more friends than you do and doesn't welcome you as a friend. More likely, he or she is laughing at you behind your back as you bend over backward to make sure that they do not hate you. Give it up, there will be times when they love you, times when they hate you. Every time in every place they need you to set limits. You are their only defence against this cold cruel world and it is up to YOU to teach your child how to function in society. When that happens, society will be right again.
