I don't think bliss and suffering are that big of deal. It's all chemicals and natural selection. It's all very meaningless.

Ask yourself: do you feel the depth of your past? Doesn't it all feel like nothing? Like a moment from yesterday? An eternity is still just one second to me. I just want to grow old and die and that be it. I don't want to be servant to my own needs and wants forever.

Everyone you help will die. Are you saying we should serve others so they can reach better levels of serotonin levels? That endorphins are the pinnacle of life?

Life is sad Dark Angel, but instead of running away from it through fiction, you should embrace it no matter how much it hurts.

Make the Soul the Master and your mind & body its servant!

When the mind becomes the Master surely all hell will break loose like it is when the servant becomes the Master!!!

What is Hell really? Let the Bible answer this. Here are some questions to consider. Scriptures are here quated, so that you can see for yourself, what the Bible really teaches, concerning Hell, the condition of the dead, and others. Eccl. 9:5,10:-shows how the living are conscious that they will die, but it also plainly states, "The dead are conscious of nothing at all."
Does the soul survive the death of the body? Ezek. 18:4:"The soul that is sinning-it itself will die." So these and other scriptures show that the dead do not experiance pain.

Note something of interest, and ask yourself this question. Had Adam not sinned, or his wife Eve, where would they be today?
Consider-Was man created by God to die?In the Genesis account, Adam and Eve were warned that death would come come only if they disobeyed the commandment, concerning the tree. Adam was created to fill the Earth, and subdue it. Also note, Where was adam to go, when he died? To a feiry Hell, as most religions will have you beleive? NO! God told Adam, that he would return to the ground, from which he came. God, NEVER said anything concerning an everlasting torment.

Hell is an eternity without the presence of God. (As opposed to being next to God forever in Heaven). I cannot even begin to understand how people can say Earth is Hell. When we are on Earth (still alive), we are not without the presence of God. He is there for us always, ready and willing to answer our prayers.

Heaven is not about chemicals and meaningless natural selection. It is about more bliss than we could ever imagine. Think of the happiest memory you have EVER had in your life... if you can even pick just one. Now multiply that by some random really large number. That STILL doesn't do justice to the happiness we will feel with an eternity with God. He is so amazing and loving, that it will be an infinite amount of bliss (don't even try to compare that "chemical happiness").

I'm praying for those of you who say you want to go to Hell because it sounds like a party, and for those of you who have so little happiness in your life, you actually admit that you couldn't care whether you go to Heaven. I hope that one day you know and understand the magnitude of God's greatness.

=0) God Bless

Hun, you sound very empty inside. That is sad to me. Don't you think you're here for another reason other than just to live and die? Everyone should reflect on this, and wonder why they are here. It is to find a path to God. No, this isn't the only life, thank God. If it was, that would be pretty terrible, considering there is so much suffering in this life. There is another life ahead of this life that lasts forever. And if you knew how bad hell was, you wouldn't say what you just said. It is more horrendous than anyone can imagine.

That might work if we had the choice to "just grow old and die and that be it." Unfortunately for you (and fortunately for us believers) we have a soul that lives on even after our bodies expire.

Have you ever been burned? Maybe you accidentally touched a hot pan or boiling water splashed on you? What was your natural reaction to that sensation? I bet you quickly removed your arm from the burning pan, right? It's a natural human reaction, call it chemical or whatever you want, but we don't like to be burned. It's painful and we don't like pain. Now imagine that tiny burn on your arm that causes so much pain encompassing your entire body but instead of a surface wound you are completely engulfed in flames. It is consuming you. You can't run to the aloe plant and break off a piece to cool the burn. You feel it. Forever. The Bible describes Hell as a lake of fire where there will we "wailing and gnashing of teeth" (uncontrollable behavior). You sound like a person who likes very much to be in control of your environment. That will be completely taken away from you in hell.

You may not think it's "that big of a deal" NOW but I promise you it will be "that big of a deal" when you are standing there in front of it and the God who died to save you whom you boldly rejected throws you in.

I'm praying you'll find Him before you experience that.

Well it is eternity in Hell...and if that is what you want ...then hey...go for it....knock yourself out...but not me...I perfer eternity in heaven....ever change your mind....let me know and ....no, my past feels like a good long life shared with the ones I love most.... making memories that will last a lifetime...wish I could slip past the painful parts but I guess that is part of the plan to....would rather not go over the pain of losing people in my life that was the beat of my heart...but if love could starve off death then...no one would die....

According to the Bible, hell is...

A place of weeping and gnashing of teeth - And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth" (Matthew 25:30).

A place of outer darkness - "Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth" (Matthew 22:13).

A place of torments - "And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom" (Luke 16:23).

A place of Sorrows - "The sorrows of hell compassed me about; the snares of death prevented me;" (2 Samuel 22:6).

A place of everlasting destruction - "Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;" (II Thessalonians 1:9).

A place where men are tormented with fire and brimstone - "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death" (Revelation 21:8).

A place where fire is not quenched - "Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched" (Mark 9:44).

A bottomless pit - "And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit" (Revelation 9:2).

A place of no rest - "And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name" (Revelation 14:11).

It is ultimately a lake of fire - "And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death" (Revelation 20:14).

A place of hopeless of unsatisfied desires - "And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame " (Luke 16:24). The rich man wanted water but could not get any.

Our only hope is Jesus Christ. The Bible is true and it speaks of hell. Every human is given the opportunity to choose Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. There is meaning to life. Read the Bible. 90% of the prophecy of the Bible has been fulfilled. 10% is yet to be fulfilled and what is coming is not pleasant. I would not want to risk spending eternity in hell.

It may be because that modern life compels one to feel that the life span is short and let us earn and enjoy by hook or crook, repeatedly committing sin after sin, and that is why it is so. By the by, the Hell is common for all the religions or it is a hell there?

Well, first it's hot. then it's dark. the food is really bad.
all the diet coke and sprite is flat or stale. Ok, time to really answer your question.

I hear you on wanting to just cease to exist. somehow that seems ok. But that's not a choice. wish it was but it ain't.
it's really simple. Love God, live with him here and there.

love something other than God and go live with that thing.

someone once asked me, "why do I have to love God to go to heaven? why can't I just be a good person.

God told me. "if you didn't love me, why would you want to spend eternity with me."

peace out dude.
