I don't have any pets, but my children do
eldest daughter: 1 rag-doll cat (looks like a cross between burmese and angora) (named, unimaginatively, Fluffy)
2nd daughter: a dog with matching color to her hair (copper) 1/2 golden retriever, 1/4 black lab, 1/4 german shepherd (Daisy)
3rd daughter: a grey dwarf bunny named Rosemary. She can do kung-fu moves off the wall!
4th daughter: 1 snake-bait mouse, 1 goldfish, a black molly and 4 pond fish. They are smarter than I thought. They swim after me when they see me in the room, and they haven't been fed yet
Plus, we seem to have a myriad of fleas. (Just bought flea collars the other day and we are vacuuming the house daily)
Son #1 has no pets, but he brings home rocks, a very interesting one that looks like amber amythest, some kind of quartz crystal.
My husband and I allow the popcorn spiders to have webs on the deck just out back. (3 of them, no names)

I have a beagle-dachsund mix. She looks like a long-legged weiner dog. My fiancee has a Lhasa Apso and a cat. All of our pets were previously owned - we got the dogs from the pound and the cat arrived as a stray.
