Yes, farting may be a natural thing to do and nobody is saying that a woman may not fart. It's the fact that she disrespected you by farting in your face. That could be a good enough reason to break up with her. I'm sure she wouldn't appreciate it if you farted in her face either. However, before breaking up with her, give her an ultimatum and tell her that you will not put up with behavior like that. If she respects you, then she won't do something like that again. However, if she does that again after you told her that it's disrespecting you, than break up with her.

I wouldn't break up with her over a fart. If you really love her, that is. Just tell her that it was gross & you didn't like it, If she respects you, she won't do it again. If something like that bothers you now, you'll never survive marriage. My husband farts in my face all the time, & yes it drives me nuts, but I still love him for who he is. I just hold my nose till the stink goes away. Then I get him back somehow, not by farting, though.

The act of farting in someones face shows a general lack of respect I would not tolerate. It is the act of a spoiled, petulant, immature child with emotional issues.
And I don't date people like that, do you?

Sounds like she's just scent marking her territory, it happens in the animal kingdom all the time . I would just return the favor at a most inappropriate time .
