In the Bible it says that thou shall shall not commit adultery, and thou shall not convert a neighbor's ox, wife, etc. I take the word adultery as meaning not having intercourse, or sexually impure thoughts about another person once you are married. Also, in not taking another man's wife for your own. So my question: Where does the no sex before marriage come in to play? I'm not saying it isn't in the Bible specifically I just have never found it.

...Look at Hebrews 13:5 -
...4 Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed is to be undefiled; for fornicators and adulterers God will judge.
...To fornicate is to have intercourse outside of a proper marriage relationship.

Consider that the Bible doesn't always explain things using the same words that we would use. For example, we sometimes talk about "the Trinity" or "the Second Coming" as if these are Biblical phrases, but actually the Bible never uses these terms (even though these concepts are clearly taught in Scripture). Therefore, it's important that we try to look at the greatest weight of evidence in order to find out what the New Testament reveals about God's will concerning premarital sex, even if the Bible never uses the words "premarital sex."

First, notice how strongly the New Testament speaks out against sexual sins:

"Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body. Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body." (1 Corinthians 6:18-20)

"But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people." (Ephesians 5:3)

The above passages tell us to flee from sexual immorality and not allow even a hint of sexual immorality in our lives. These are strong words, so it is important that we make the right decision about premarital sex.

Sex before marriage has become so common for many reasons. But along with all other kinds of sexual immorality, sex before marriage / premarital sex is repeatedly condemned in Scripture (refer to these scripture passages: Acts 15:20; Romans 1:29; 1 Corinthians 5:1; 6:13,18; 7:2; 10:8; 2 Corinthians 12:21; Galatians 5:19; Ephesians 5:3; Colossians 3:5; 1 Thessalonians 4:3; Jude 7).

You only will go to hell if you don't believe in God at the time of your death. You are fine because Biblically you were married to him the first time you had sex and since you've had no other man since then you have not committed adultery. If the church you are going to makes you feel guilty about things like this then find another church. If your guilt is self inflicted then you should forgive yourself...it's not the way God wants you to live.

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals ... (1 Cor 6:9)

Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed is to be undefiled; for fornicators and adulterers God will judge. (Heb 13:4)

"For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, fornication, theft, murder, adultery ... (Mark 7:21)

good question!
in the Bible, adultery refers to both having intercourse with someone who is not your spouse AND having sex before marriage.
fornication is specifically mentioned as a sin also.
adultery= fornication... and other things.

Only Christians worry about that meaningless code of unnatural behavior because to believe otherwise just might make the intangible threat of eternal suffering handed down by a just and merciful God come to fruition.

And we wouldn't want to do something meaningful with our lives, would we? Better to live in fear under religious brainwashing so we all stay safe from harm!

just because it doesnt also say a woman shall never take another woman's husband doesnt mean that it would be alright. and since most of my neighbors don't own ox's, it doesnt mean im off the hook if i want to covet their new cars. think logically, not literally - premarital sex is a sin inasmuch as all other sins of the flesh.
