never started smoking is the absolute biggest, but that's kinda something I DIDN'T do for my health. Something I DID do was get a membership to the gym that i still use 5 or 6 times a week.

Started drinking water and milk. I once started walking... then the snow came and its to cold now! I'm chicken to slip. Anyhow If your looking to get healthy theres a lot of ways how.

Fast, excersize-Walk-Run-Jog-Hop-You know the things that are hard to do
Medium, excersize-Walk when ever you can
Slow and steady, Drink water, and eat the same as you do now, and just add daily 30 min work outs.. like cunches and stuff..

I stopped taking advice from my mother. Seriously, one time she said to eat protein in order to have quick energy to go out and play in the yard. Pretty much every new shoddy news report anouncing some "shocking," "new" breakthrough, becomes instant dogma for her with lots of tsk-tsking if you dare not follow it, no matter how many times it gets disproven afterward.
