Get over yourself.......................... the goverment has more important things to focus on, unless your into terrorism. Just remember this when you start to feel paranoid the world does not revolve around you. Nobody has the time to sit and listen or watch you for 24/7 .........................They have their own lives to live, and the truth of the matter is that the "law enforcement" that you are refering to would have to prove to a Judge that there is probable cause for this tapping of your phone, and then wouldn't even be allowed to use it in court. Only for their own knowledge.
My best advice to you would be to not do anything against
the law then you wouldnt have any thing to worry about.

it is a piece of cake to tap a phone. And they DON'T need to get inside your house to do it either.
