there is this girl from my school in which i have liked ever since the first time i have seen her. When we are at school she never tells me hi but she does smile at me and when she is talking to her friends from afar and when she notices me, she looks from the corner or her eye to look at me. she used to smile at me everytime she seen me or i looked at her, now when i walk by her and look her straight in the face, she knows I am there she just doesn't look at me or tell me hi. is this shyness or something? i mean we are friends and stuff, but would a friend like look at you all the time and always gaze at you when she is talking to her friends? these are things she does, and when we talk i once told her i like her and stuff and when i first admitted i liked her she said ''wow!!'' she always says wow she never says anything else so i dunno. If she acts this way could she like me? she already likes this guy, but could she like me more than a friend?

I have the same problem. I just asked the girl I liked to dance with me at a school dance because she looks at me alot in school so i was thinking she liked me. She said she just wanted to be friends. Girls are messed up dude. (ladies, don't take it personal)

According to your story she probably already knew that you liked her and just said wow because it confirmed your thoughts. Tell her how much you like her and ask her out to a movie. Also dont gawk and stare at her and expect her to say hi and look at you all the time. She may be shy or think that you are obsessed with her. As for your question, I dont exactly know but there are a few good ways to find out. Number one way is find someone who talks to her a lot but is not excatly your friend. Ask them to find out for you and they may already know or they could probably find out. If that way doesnt work out just come out and say it. Most of the time girls wont freak out and if they do appologize. Good luck!
P.S. When I asked out the girl im dating right now I just had to come out and say it. Try to find some of her friends to ask her it is a lot easier-trust me.

dont worry about the wow thing, cause most girls in the "school age" doesnt know what to say when a guy says he like her (same with guys, in my experiences), so we just say our "catch phases". im doing kinda the same thing with a guy that i like(when she looks at you and says nothing). sometimes a just friend will just look at you and say nothing, but it completely depends on the person.
