I have a really close guy friend and he's really sweet and cute. he's actually kinda hot, but he's short. about 5ft. i guess u could blame it on puberty but we're getting a little old 4 that. unfortunately i think he's always gonna be pretty short. his 17yr old sister is only like 5'2" and his other sister... whos a year older than us is shorter than him. is he always gonna be short?

i don't like him like that. i'm fine w/ his height. but its just he's really upset about the girl he didn't get and he thinks its because the guy who got her is taller.

You don't say how old he is? Men grow in height up until about 19 or 20 so depending on his age I'm going to guess if he is under that age yes he probably will grow more but, probably will always be pretty short.

depends. check how tall his parents are. sounds like he may get a couple inches taller. but men generally don't keep growing past 20 or so. you may be stuck with a travel size guy but those are the guys that develop the BEST personalities to copmpensate for the hieght but beware of height issues. look at marcus giles for examle. (an atlanta braves player) he has a fabulous and fantastic outgoing personality but I think the braves themselves are more upset about his height than he is. they exaggerate his height because they measure him in socks like the other guys. Marcus stands by the braves as 5'8 in socks but rumors abound he's actually a little shorter. having met him, he charmed my socks off. Marcus has LOADS of charm and I think it's due to him being a little short. because the taller men ALWAYS get the job. Marcus was picked 53rd int he draft picks but look at what he's done. he's with one of the top teams in baseball. well, until this year. the braves had 14 division titles and a world series championship. Marcus helped them get those titles. He's an excellent hitter and first baseman. He's also a fan favorite BECAUSE of his charm. So see the accomplishments that the short guys can do and not the height.
he could be right about the other guy getting her becuse of his height.

Height depends on a lot of things, if his siblings are short and his Parents are short then it is pretty much guaranteed he will not be very tall, depending on his age he may or may not grow more. There is nothing wrong with being vertically challenged I myself am only 4' 10" and have long since passed the age where I will get any taller:)

1. who cares how short/tall he is? If you like him, you like him for him.
2. We grow until our mid 20's. I graduated HS at 5 foot 4. I topped out at 5 foot 6 1/2.
As a sidenote, know this: there is, or at least will be, someone that doesn't care about his height but likes him for who he is and will snag him before you get over the height issue.

I could help more if I knew how old he is.
But I can tell you that some men actually grow until they're 25 (though most stop growing by 21).
Now that I know his age I can safely say that he may have that growth spurt between sophomore and junior year that turns previous shorties into hotties. However, he won't ever reach 5'10".

SOme guys have these outrageous growing spurts out of nowhere even up to their early twenties. My brother grew like nine inches this summer. He's 22. He's taller than me for the first time ever.

if he's around 18 yrs. old......he might be close to his height....if he is younger he might grow a few more inches as we don't really stop till we're 19 or 20.........short is as short does.......remember that... ;)
