This is a car I truly want to buy. It is the new car that replaced the Dodge Neon and it is a hatchback. I went and test drove this vehicle I fell in love. Unfortunately, the dealer priced this vehicle way above my price range into the low 20's. I like the fact that it is all-wheel drive and it has different features such as IPOD jack and a "chill-zone" which is like a fridge in your car! I just don't know if it is worth it and because it is a new vehicle on the market, what price do you think I can work it down to?

The MSRP of this caliber is definetly over 20,000. I doubt they marked it up over msrp, but they might not want to sell it for less than that. The sticker price is set by manufacturer, and there is less than 1500 total profit including holdback and invoice.

On the lots there are plenty of SE and SXT models, but R/T's are few here and there.

You say you love it, Buy it!!!!!!!, offer 500 off MSRP price, it is an exceptional value for the money.

Price is something that is going to stay higher on this car because it is in such high demand. Try looking for a used one there are some out but not many. And just so you know the r/t model does not have the axillary plug for the ipod. Only the SE and sxt have that.

If you want some more money off of the caliber. Become a member of the farm bureau. In Illinois those members receive 500 extra off the price

Unless you can find a demonstrator they are willing to sell you aren't going to work the price down. The demand allows them to sell without any pricing promotions. If you want a calibre for less you will have to buy a front drive vehicle instead of all-wheel.

i own a repair shop, and there's not going to be much coming down on this one ,remember its new,hes not going to take the best offer that you make him, its new,and he can stick to the asking price,he might give a little on it if you have a trade in,but your just going to give him your car,and you,ll still be buying the new one almost strait out,but there,s not much room to give on it,good luck i hope this help,s.
