For me exercise is best an hour or two before bedtime. You can actually eat everything you like then before sleeping tone some for muscles and then wastes are out with sweats while burning those extra calorie taken the whole day. The morning comes with very sound sleep, awaken by a lighter weight and lesser fat. Ready to take-in foods again for the day, worry-free for an excess baggage knowing its another day of conditioned-sound-body and sound-mind!

Hehehe what do you think???

It is preferable that you do not eat right after or before you eat, or right before you go to sleep. Set aside a certain amount of time each day to do basic exercises and make sure to stick to it. As you get better at your exercises, you can increase the intensity of each one. However, don't over-do yourself. Rest is important, too. As to the time, any time will do, disregarding the time near meals and right before bed, like the morning or after work, for example.

The worst part of exercising before bed is that you may not be able to settle down for sleep but if you can - there is no problem with it. Exercise is good anytime ~ I used to like to do it first thing in the morning to get my day going and to get it done with :o) so when I got home, I could just relax.. but exercise is good anytime And exercise before meals will jus help you burn more calories.

Oh just to mention - if you eat 5 to 6 small meals a day, it helps increase your metabolism which would help you burn more calories - it really works ~ and it keeps your energy up which is a plus. :)

actually the best time to exercise is as soon as you get up in the morning. There are 2 main reasons for this...

1. your metabolism is at it's lowest point when you first wake up... so exercising right away will "jump start" it and get it to a higher level so that you will be burning more calories through out the day.

2. if you eat right before a work out...then you will use those calories from the food you just ate as your energy source for you work out. however, if you work out first thing in the morning you are working out on an empty stomach so your body will have to get it's energy from stored calories in the body...like fat!

The best time of day to exercise is mid afternoon about 3 pm the next best time is early morning before breakfast. This has to do with blood sugar levels but really any workout will allow you to benefit from it..good luck
