I get alot of conflicting information. I have been separate for almost two months now and had a chance to date but I feel weird about it. I am told this is the best way to get over the break up of my marriage. I know my ex is busy already, was before we broke up. how long before it dont seem wrong.

its all according to when you are ready to move on and live life. dont listen to anybody but yourself, because you will know what you are ready for emotionally. you alone. there is no preset time. no time limit but your own.

Nobody can tell you how long to wait. It's all a matter of when you feel ready personally. I myself was faithfull during my 6 1/2 years of marriage and am engaged to be married now after about a year since we separated/filed for divorce. Don't worry about if your ex is busy or what he's doing. You have your own life now and you will find happiness alot faster if you concentrate on yourself. If you are ready, then go for it. If he was already messing around before it ended then i dont think u have a reason to be worried about a time limit after the marriage.....shoo if i was u soon as i was divorced i woulda had me some mo' man...i understand everybody goes through a grieving period but i want u to think about is he really worth grieving over...baby its already been to long

As long as you feel you need. Start dating when you feel ready. You will know when you are ready. Give yourself time to recover.

You will know when your ready, if you feel weird about it, maybe your just not ready yet. try a few friend dates first..
