Yes, there is a way to get older versions of many different programs.

Did you look on your Discs that came with your computer? You can re-install any program from those discs.
If that is not an option try ebay.com and you might be able to buy the same one you originally had.

Try the System Restore which takes you back to a time when your computer was working good. Go To:
start
programs
accessories
systems tools
system restore
This process is completely restorable.
