If you were already in good shape before you made the hike, you probably won't feel a thing. If you haven't been physically active for a while, I would ice your legs and take some ibuprofen right now. Prop your legs up on a pillow and wait for DOMS to set in - that's delayed onset muscle soreness (which occurs when you exercise your muscles beyond their current fitness level). I'm guessing you'll wake up, but you might wish you didn't. Stretch a little tonight too. That might help.

You'll be OK - if your in reasonable shape. Probably a little sore, tho.
Did you accomplish what you set out to accomplish?
Hope so, because the sense of reaching your goal is worth the soreness!
I'm going to try to hike 8 miles tomorrow - 4 miles up & 4 miles down!
Thank goodness for Sunday!

I gather that you're not really in great shape. That's fine, and I'm not judging you... it's just something to note when answering.
You will probably have sore legs tomorrow, particularly in the back of your thighs and calves. It probably won't be that bad... not any worse than if you've been standing all day. However, I wouldn't suggest wearing high heels tomorrow, and you should take a hot bath to make your muscles feel better. An aspirin would help too.

If you hiked three miles uphill and two miles down, you're going to feel lost because you're a mile away from home! Seriously, though, kudos to you for getting out and getting some exercise. If your feet hurt try soaking them in warm water, then elevating them while sitting or lying down. If your legs hurt try gently massaging them (or, better still, get someone to do it for you).

Tomorrow you will feel proud! And maybe a little sore. The day after tomorrow you'll feel most sore.
Unless, of course, you hike this much daily.
Congrats. I just hikes 5.5 miles up one day and 5.5 down the next and I hurt most two days later.

Since you're already confused (3+3=6), I'd say tomorrow is going to be a rough day.

You'll probably wake up early with soreness in your legs. Try to keep moving them off and on during the evening before you go to bed.

Probably a bit stiff in the legs but you'll feel just fine. Get up tomorrow and do it all over again.
