My guy friend told my best friend that he likes me but doubts that i'll have time for him with school and sports that i do. How can i show him that i will have time and that i like him too? He often says that i'm too smart for him, why does he have to be like this?

he's intimidated by your intelligence. a lot of guys are even though they wouldn't admit it! uhm, have you tried talking to him and telling him that you like him? tell him that b/c you really like him you will spend time with him. reassure him that you're not actually that smart or he's not really stupid. but only do it once, if he's still unsure or w/e, forget about him. guys that are that intimidated by girls are not worth having! so good luck!

Sometimes guys say things like you are too smart for me, or you are too busy for me because they don't want to be involved with you in any kind way. I'm sorry but it sounds like an excuse he's trying to use. Just find a guy who will appreciate your hard work and instead of making you feel bad for being smart actually help you out and do the same thing.

He must be a fool. I am always looking for girls who are smarter than me and do sports just a bit, they are more stimulating than other girls. If you know what I mean.

A guy......when likes a smart gal..........it means he can seek help in homework but sometimes............guys doesn't care if the girl is smart or not but he likes to get gf

Prove it by inviting him over often enough that he sees you do have time. if that doesnt work then he was just making excuses.
