I'll take this one step further. If there was a reward for their capture, and you knew where they are hiding, would you turn them in?

It depends on what member of my family it is. If it's a family member I care about, no. But if I don't like them, I'll turn them in, reward or not.

If it was family, I wouldn't do it for the reward. I would do it because I had a family member who, at that moment in their life, needed to do some time.

This is a very difficult question to answer because no one knows for sure how they would behave in this particular situation unless or until they are faced with this same choice. One can only guess, but I hope this is one issue that I will never have to deal with.

I'd turn them in. It'd be hard, but I'd do it. I wouldn't do it for the $ nessicarily, but I'd definately tell the police. Like, there was a guy here in town that was wanted and he just got caught. If I'd been related and had seen him, I would have told!

Um, a reward isn't what I would be doing it for, I think it all depends on what he's wanted for. If he/she is a harm to the community - most definately yes!

when i first read your question (with out the reward bit) I thought yes i would, they deserve it.

But when you mentioned the reward i would either
a) tell the police, get the money and give it to some one or
b) tell some one else who needs the money and they will tell the police and get the money they much need.

I would most likely do b)

Not unless someone was in immediate physical danger. But as a loving relative, if the subject came up, I would try to get them to turn themselves in.

I would turn in my own child if I knew that they broke the law and I wouldn't take a reward for it. I believe if you make the choice to do the crime then you do the time.

depending on the crime, since there is an award it must be something bad. You could turn them in and give the money to charity. in any case good Luck.
