I got to try it for the first time when I was in Canada back in July and I fell in love with it. I also have to say there were lots of cafes and restaurants there that were making them(Canada, not France, Canada). So I was wondering if they were popular in the States also.

Pancakes and waffles are more popular than crepes in the US.

Of course they are! You just have to know where to get them. I just had a delightful seafood crepe this week at lunch as a matter of fact. My daughter ordered a smoked ham crepe with apricot sauce. A restaurant chain called IHOP makes them too but the best crepes in my opinion are served in intimate cafes and bistros.

i'm in singapore, and they arn't popular here either, there are places that sell them tho. not that hard to find. pancakes arnt very popular , but we do eat them . i can tell from the many different brands of pan cake mix available. plus, in singapore we have this thing called red beam and peanut pancakes. those rock. think it;s more of an asian delicasy tho.

just thought i;d give ya a world view :D

cheers !

No, they are not popular here. But I'm sure you could find them. Try a web search for a french restaurant.

Usually only popular for those who have been out of the country to get the chance to eat them!

I love them, but I had them in a French class. I know that they are not widely available, but some restaurants have them.
