Are nerds cool?

well are they? or you will never consider them unless they change?

nerds seem to be ostracized from the society. is this true? explain please.

First of all. No one has a right to demean anyone else. So everyone who calls anyone a nerd is a jerk. What gets on my nerves is when people when people who are called nerds let this affect their self esteem.

Ideally no one should care what anyone else thinks about them. That's what self confidence is. And to me that is way cooler than some idiot who can put people down. But the reality is that people in high school are immature and society as a whole tends to judge people.

So here's what you do. Stop caring about what other people think. It's about you that's important. 2nd hit the weight room if you haven't been already. If you're well built society is going to hard time labeling you as a nerd.
3rd the looks. Things you can to make yourself really good, fix hair (go to a stylist showing pictures of guys w/great hair and or use LA Looks, skin tone, clothes,etc.

Another problem people who called is that they tend to lose touch with mainstream society. I recommend participation in at least one sport to interact with more kids.

well what do you mean by the word nerd? dorky clothes with glasses? really smart? really unpopular?

in my old school we had a lot of nerds and they were all pretty popular...they never get a girlfriend but still popular and everone liked them

we had other type of nerds who were the star wars fan and pokemon and crap...now they were not popular at all...they were imature, ugly, stupid, and kinda rude

most pple are gonna say that nerds are NOT cool....because nerds is most of the time meaning geek...and geek is not cool

Yes nerds are cool. They invent a lot and are responsible for a lot of technology that we use today. Just think what would happen if you were with the nerd that invented the Internet - RICH!

Coolness is a matter of opinion. Jocks would rather hang out with jocks, nerds would rather hang out with nerds. So what?

Once you get out of high school, those distinctions pretty much vanish anyway. In college and in adult life, that stuff really isn't an issue anymore.

A lot of nerds are cute but aren't arrogant about it because they are not aware of it.
Nerds are the guys that are very intelligent and sensitive.

yes they are in the long run they are pretty successful guys they end up with a beautiful lady i hve seen it time and time an again.i do agree with you on that but i think it's just society that puts such labels on people with out regards to the person on a personal level

"Cool" each and every physique is the lamest ingredient in the international. they'll never get alongside in extreme college. interior the genuine international, the cool human beings will the two learn how to be nerdy, be finished mess united statesdue to their loss of sensible ability, or exchange into politicians.
