there have been placebo tests done on people who thought they were drinking alcohol, but werent, and acted drunk...the mind is a powerful thing.

Do you mean drinking or consuming. If just drinking, than you could get drunk from eating jello made with alcohol or any other food that was prepared with liquor. You could also get drunk if you had an alcohol IV--but those would be pretty slim circumstances.
There are many things that could cause a state similar to alcohol induced intoxication: medication, drugs, head injury, psychosis, delirium, shock etc.

i dont drink but i heard a trick.
if you pour about an inch of vodka into a wine glass and then light a match and drop it in the booz the cover with your had for a lil bit and you can smell the fumes and get drunk.
not sure about the reality of ti but go ahead and try.

you could get intoxicated by taking alcohol into your body in any way assuming the quantities were sufficient. (including I.V. and inhalation.)

Not exactly, except on some other drug, like certain mushrooms, but you can get exhilarated, which gives much the same feeling.

yes in seattle you can inhale your alcohol!!! no drinking required!!! and u do get "drunk"....
