Some nuts are poisonous to dogs. I know macadamia nuts are. If they ate a bunch of any kinds of nuts it will probably make them vomit and maybe diarrhea. Nuts have lots of protein and too much protein may be harmful to them.

Some nuts such as pecans are very toxic to dogs. So just don't give them any.
