Sometimes people really don't mean to offend you but they kind of have to in order to get their message across.

The old saying is: "They can dish it out.... but they can't take it" I've heard this as also being something about transferring behaviors or dumping. It's like an ego placebo by making someone else look smaller. Some might think that it's some form of construction criticism but if not properly used it really is just sarcasm at best. Many also seem to enjoy pulling other peoples chains to prove that they are unstable and should not be employed where they work or asking and answering questions on Yahoo Answers.

No it doesn't difficulty me in any respect. notwithstanding, I do locate it slightly unhappy that they sense the opt to operate the "no rude comments" remark. yet I do comprehend that they are searching for valid solutions to what might want to correctly be misinterpreted as a flippant question. And upon seeing countless the ignorant and rude solutions some human beings go away to a question... now and again i visit't blame them for including that "no rude comments" statement.

"Your opinion of me is none of my business."

When you can learn to live that way, you will take offense a lot less than you do now. At least I do. If they're just being rude, I say something like, "I resemble that remark". That kind of response tends to make them think about what they say to people. And when I still get upset, I need to learn how much I resemble that remark, because at least, to some degree, they are right.

The truth will set you free,
But first it may pi** you off.

You are not alone--saying "no offense" is a passive aggressive way for people to let you know that they just insulted you. They should just say the negative and move on or just say nothing--what is truly gained by putting others down?---nothing. Gain something everyday and relate a positive comment to someone whenever you can. Rock on! =^..^=

Yeah...say back to them, no offense but you are a moran. Or something to that effect...love to hear some good come backs. I have to deal with some ignorant immature people and am looking for good come backs.

Next time you hear that, just say:

"I've never understood why people say "No Offense" and follow it with a personal attack or sarcastic remark. How is that NOT supposed to be offensive???"

When a person says "no offense" all it does is create instant awareness of an offense that is about to take place. Just say what you have to say, don't f*ckin try to butter it up (which doesn't work by the way).
