Yes, one of the indications for folic acid is with methotrexate drug therapy, since methotrexate can cause a folic acid deficiency.

I don't think folic acid should be taken at the same time as methotrexate. If I were you, call your pharmacists. The pharmacist has to tell you because that is their responsibility.
At the same time, ask when you take methotrexate, do you have to sit up for 30 minutes or not?

Yes I believe it can, but as Methotrexate is a folate antagonist, it will be less effective. MTX can induce a folate deficiency, and folate may be necessary to counteract this.

I don't see what not. It is a vitamin that is good for you unless your oncologist has recommended against it.
