Like you, my husband and I had a close friend help us with many of our wedding day duties. We bought her a wonderful clock at Things Remembered and engraved it with a little poem about how Life is made up of precious momentss and thanking her for taking hers to spend with us. She has that clock on her mantle and always thinks of us when she checks the time.

Sounds like you are lucky to have such a friend.
I think the clock idea is a great one!
If you knit or quilt, a nice lap blanket might do the trick.
Or
How bout surprising her and the four of you go get your portrait taken together? Get a nice frame for the picture and that way she can have it to remember your friendship.
Congratz on the wedding, and good luck

Make sure you get something that both her, and her husband, can enjoy. Something that can be engraved will probably be the most meaningful since you and your new husband can put your own touch on the gift. Come up with or find a poem about friends/friendship or about being thankful. I would also put your wedding date on it and your initials (your first, new last, hubby's first) ...

Something that every time she sees it it will remind her of you and your husband and how much you appreciate what she did for you on your special day. Have a calendar made with special days marked for her, such as her families birthdays, Thank you days, anniversaries etc. maybe some pictures of them and their family for the month toppers. Every time she looks at the calendar for a year she will have fond memories of you and her family. A cloth one could be framed after use for longer memories.

Well, if you know her, then you wouldn't have a problem buying something she would truly love. Maybe a piece of jewelry that holds sentimental value and maybe having it engraved thanking her for being such a special friend. Congratulations on your wedding! Best of luck!

A gift certificate or a nice size check and a small token from a store like Things Remembered would be nice.

Why don't you give her a gift certificate for a spa service such as a massage, manicure or a facial. If that doesn't appeal to her how about gift certificate for a nice restaurant.

I would take them to a special diner and then to something like a day spa or rent them a wekend in a motel

How about a day at a Spa or a gift certicate to her favorite restaurant. Or a thank you bouquet of flowers.
