try pediasure and also she may have a lack of appetite because of the was her food looks...i'm not saying you're a terrible cook or anything but just make it more appealing to her like in shapes and things with bright colors like carrots and apples...i would also just give her what she wants as far as food goes...so if she wants a hot dog give her a hot dog...of course use this in reasonable means..if all she wants is candy...don't give it to her...but things like pizza, eggs, hot dogs...whatever...chances are if she wants it she'll eat more of it and gain some weight.

At this age it is normal for a little girl to have a small appetite because of her activity. Little ones are so on the go that food is the last thing on their little minds! She is into everything and she isn't going to want to sit down to eat. So you have to bring food to her! When she is wondering around your livingroom playing, set a small plate of finger foods on the table that she can eat as she feels the need to. Perhaps some crackers, cherios, small diced fruits,etc...If you prefer not to have her in the livingroom... then put the baby gate in the kitchen and some toys on the floor and set a small table in there and see if she will eat. Give her chances like this to eat whenever you can. Once a baby starts to explore and walk the baby fat comes off and eating can become a challenge. You don't want it to be a fight at the dinner table or you could cause an eating disorder so don't force her to eat. Just make sure that there is food available whenever she is hungry. Another good suggestion is in the car when she is in her car seat. Carry pre-packaged snacks to give her while she is strapped in. I had trouble with my son when he was tiny and now he is a normal, healthy, 12 year old boy!

Normal for a kid this age to be a picky eater. Try not to worry too much.

She probably has a few favorite foods so give her those and try to introduce new things every once in a while. I heard doing 'fun' things with foods (like arranging food in a smily face on the plate, making sandwiches in different shpaes with cookie cutters) might make them more eager to try new foods. Or try to 'hide' foods in the foods she will eat (my son didn't want to eat supper so I knew he loves sandwiches so I put some of the supper between bread and he ate it up lol) Also get her some vitamins (like Flinstone vitamins... kids think they are candy haha)

my daughter at that age would go days without eating. she was a little underweight but active to. i took her to a doctor and he advised me to give her pediasure when she wouldnt eat so she could get the nutrition and vitamens. since shes active she's probally ok but it wouldn't hurt to give her pedisure and if she continues to lose weight just ask her doctor

don't worry too much as long as you have given her a balance diet, that should be fine.

As your child grows older, make the food fun. eg mash potatoes as a face, beans as cheeks, veggie as hair .....

Make her excited with her meal.

Most kids like ice-cream. give her milk ice-cream sometimes as treats.
