She is just acting like an 8month old lab...lol....you'll have to put up with the spazing until she is about 2 yrs or so. There are lots of things you can do though to make her behave for you. First, never reward her for spazing. When she play bites, yell "oww" and then stop playign with her and ignore her (she'll hate being ignored). When she licks you, praise her and pet her. She will eventually uderstand to only lick, because biting results in getting ignored.
For the jumping....this isn't to hard to stop. Everytime she jumps on you, turn around and put your back towards her. It is a classic dog training technique, and it will work, just make sure you do it every single time she tries to jump. Also, make sure everyone else does it too. Whenever someone comes to your house, let them know they have to turn around if she jumps because you are training her.
If you want her to be a good dog, you just have to be consistent with everything (and patient!). She is depending on you to teach her how to behave, and the more consistent you are....the faster she will learn.
Good luck

Yeah... sorry to tell you this, but you just described my lab. She's 3 1/2 so you still have a while to go. Behavior classes will help some. We're taking our second round right now. When you give her a treat, ball the treat in you had and when she snaps at you tell her in a stern voice "easy!" keep repeating until she no longer is trying to snatch the treat out of you hand. Then give her the treat and give her lots of praise. It will take a few days. Be consistent.

Hahahaha, cute ,, don't worry she's a lab! she's still a baby, by the time she is 4 to 5 years old she will be much calmer:)
I love labs.
Relax enjoy her, after she gets fixed she will calm down a little bit, but it's an age thing for sure,
Take her out as much as you can, run her play a lot of fetch with her, that's what shes for to retrieve.
Happy Retrieving =) or should I say chasing her hehehe.

This is just lab puppies there very hyper. She not biting when you think she is, she's playing and it tuns out like that.
What you could do is take her to doggie classes at Super Petz or Pet Smart. These things are taught at these classes and it's free!!!!
Why would you want to put a MUZZLE on a 8month old lab.....this is in their blood. READ up on labs and you'll see.

She is still a puppy. First she needs a "Gentle Leader" your vet will have them most likely. It fits on their head kind of like a horse halter. It is a perfectly gentle way to teach them manners. It comes with an instruction Manuel. Then find an obedience class. Remember puppies need lots of exercise so the more yard time the better. Good Luck

Obedience classes might help, but don't count on it. You just have to ride it out. Labs are a very hyper, happy breed. As they get older, they slowly calm down a little.
Or just enjoy your dog's lively spirit!

I've never seen a lab not act like this at that age. Been there. Maybe take her to classes. But she's still a puppy.

take her to some sort of training and behavior camp. Do remember that she is only a little puppy. I had dogs like that too and they have grown up w/o any sort of training camp and they are some of the best dogs a person could have. Just give your dog some time!
