I've been dating my boyfriend 5 months and have never seen his home (he's 30). We live in seperate cities (only about an hour away), and when I come to see him we never ever go to his place. Whenever I bring it up he says his house is a mess and he will fix it up for next time.
I'm being a dumb a** right? Whats the chances he is married / has kids?
(I have met a lot of his friends and employees though which is the only reason I'm still in this relationship)

He comes and sees me about once a week and stays at my place. When in his city I usually end up getting a hotel or head home.

Hmmmmmmmmmm.... never seen his home. Yes not a good sign. Does he ever make the trip to see you? If not, then you need to step back and re-evaluate everything. Do you have a home number? Or just a cell number? If no home address, or home phone... step away FAST... right now!

something is kinky and cooky here around. i do not get the full story. do you go to motels or hotels...instead of homes -- or you go nowhere? 5 months is not the end of this world -- I believe that his house is a "mess" -- true for a good number of bachelors -- next time you meet him in his town -- come prepared with "house cleaning stuff" and offer to clean his place. if he accepts -- you will see who is telling the truth. or offer and pay for a cleaning lady to do the job. -- ps. make it a gift for a special day/birthday etc. shall we say good luck.

just insist that he lets u come 2 his house. talk 2 him on the phone and set it up. that way he'll feel like he has time 2 hide anything... if he is. but make sure 2 get there about 20min early just in case there really is something he doesn't want u 2 see.

he may be messy or he might have a wife and kid tucked away what do your sixth sense tell you cause he is hiding something next time tell him you don't CARE how messy his house is that you just want to see it and you could help him straighten it up and see what he say then good luck

i have been in similar situations and it is not good news, check around in his car, wallet, pockets, catch him when he doesnt expect you to be there, see if you can catch him "slippen" off the ring... hey your bein nosey for a just cause, and if he is married then you will save yourself a lot of hurt and a lot of drama in the end.. remember this "birds of a feather flock together" if he is married... then his friends will lie cause they prolly do the same thing... good luck.

look him up at the courthouse, I'm sure they keep any marriage divorce licences there, but it is a bit stockerish. Best thing to do is look him up and 15min to his house call and say that you are on your way with a gift of course. (wine is tasteful)

Sounds like he's trying to hide something. I'd ask his friends and employees to dig more into why he's doing this...

He just might be embarrassed for you to see his place. He could be a sloppy person and dont wantyou to know.

Maybe he still lives with his parents,or is ashamed of where he lives....or he is married or a cereal killer ....could be a number of things....
