Interesting question.
Mine doesn't have a bad odor at all. I've gotten compliments on it before--no joke.
I personally don't see why there should be any odor. If you keep yourself clean--actually take a washcloth and wash down there then rinse it. Maybe after you've been working all day or exercising and you get a little sweaty, sure there's a funky smell then, but no worse then you guys!
It helps to keep the fuzz either shaved or at least trimmed short. Of course I think guys should keep their 'fro trimmed a bit too. Much more pleasant to be down there without so much hair, and much nicer smelling.
I don't understand all the references to tuna and all that. If you're with a girl and she smells like fish, get away! The only reason to smell that bad is if the girl has a really nasty yeast infection or a bacterial vaginosis, and then she needs to get to a doctor!

It has some odour, which contains some chemical substances which are sometimes attractive to males. But that depends really on how clean is the girl, how much of female '***' she produces and other numerous factors.
You got to remember one thing though: you can adjust on anything. If you like the girl and she likes when you give her oral sex, then do it! The reward will be oral sex and amazing sex overall for you! Try to adjust on the smell because if even it's disgusting/bad at the beginning, it will become more attractive to you as the time passes. Believe me, I've been there with more than 1 female.

Gross Warning!
I once read advice from a very worldly person that said that vaginas smell three different kinds of ways: pleasant, neutral and mustard-gas. As a guy I've never had to take care of a vagina of course, but I imagine regular internal cleanliness plays a part. I've also heard that diet can help - drinking water and cranberry juice and other purifying foods cleans you out from the inside, so I've heard. I'd say keep your twinkie clean and let it smell like it may, some partner will find it a pleasantly captivating part of you.

No odor if healthy. The ph changes after menopause. Everything around it has several different aromas and flavors. Sometimes it tastes like sweet pickles. If you take antibiotics it kills the good bacteria and you have to eat yogurt or it will smell bad. Some soaps do the same.

The vagina should not have an odor if it is clean. Infections such as yeast or sudamonas can lead to a foul or fishy smell.

I rode motorcycles in my youth, and thought that faring was like a windshield on a horse. Evidently all those thousands of miles of drifting destroyed my olefactory function. I can smell very little.
I became a fabulous muff diver, and have enjoyed oral like no one else I ever heard of.
What odor?

Yes, and it's there because the male in the day of old were attracted to it as we were to them. The musky fermion smells were attractive to both sexes. No one used deodorant or perfumes and after shave. Lucky you live in this century huh?

It depends on what you have been hearing!
My wife never has 'smelt,' whereas, my girlfriend does. At times it can be quite a powerful aroma ....which is in fact a testament to just how 'turned on this woman can become.'
Sash.
