You could use it but it is probably so low in the actual medication you'd be better off using bacitracin ot triple antibiotic ointment or peroxide or even betadine. If you used it in your eye, very sensitive area, and didn't have side effects you won't on the skin.

Anti-biotics are anti-biotics and will work anywhere. Ointment must be very clean to put in your eyes but it can be used on any part of the body.

overuse of any antibiotic can lead to them not working when you really need them.
you will become resistant to them
