I had a very turbulant relationship with my ex, we suffered throught 12 long years together. Although the relationship did not turn out has we had hoped it would, I have always thought she was a great and wonderful person. Our breakup was very painful for both of us. Currently, by both of us letting go of the past but not the friendship, I am now like a brother to her new husband and she is very fond of my wife. The four of us are very tight knit friends and are very fortunate that it is so. Great friends are hard to come by. The real question you ask is: Do you trust him? That has nothing to do with the ex....When you answer this, you'll have your answer. Hope this helps.

okay i was in this sort of problem but i was the ex with a new bf and all i found out was its bad.even when there still are feelings.but your best bet is just to talk to him about it and if you feel like its is a disaester waiting to happen then you need to tell him.but if its the once in a while convo on the phone and maybe the 5 minutes runins in the store then that is fine but if they go places by themself watch out they may find themself in each others arms and feel real bad about it then later on they will leave there others and go back to each other

I'm in the same boat sistah. My bf still talks to his ex, but they dated for two years. I understand that they shared a lot of stuff and went through the entirety of high school together. If he's telling you they're just friends... then believe it or not, unless you have any further evidence, they probably just are.

You probably don't have much of a choice. If it were left up to me, I would say no, but like I said, you might not have a choice in the matter. Your only choice might be to either stay and keep quiet about your feelings or leave him alone.

yes you should be able to trust him or at least let him think that you trust him, but make sure that you watch them at all times and don't never leave them alone by themselves stay close by!! And try to become close friends with not enemies so that you can stay close by!!

Yes, I am learning the same lesson. Trust is all you have and if you can't trust one another then there is no need for your relationship.
