Does anyone feel sick after taking naps? This isnt something that worries me too much, because I dont take naps that often, but when I do I always feel sick afterwards. I am completely fine when i go to sleep at night and get a full nights rest, its only when i get tired in the middle of the day and fall asleep. I took a nap today and I woke up an hour or so later and I felt like I was going to puke. This was around noon, and now its 9:30pm and I still dont feel well.

I looked up information online about it and the only thing i can find about these symtoms are people on medications and I am not taking anything. Just wondering if anyone else had this..and if there is anything you can do?

If you take a nap for longer than about 45 minutes, then your body goes into REM sleep which is a really deep sleep. Sometimes if you wake up during REM sleep it can mess with your body, like cause nausea or even make you feel sleepier the rest of the day. I've heard never to take naps for longer than 30 minutes to an hour.
Other than that info, this may be the start of a virus or the flu especially since you said you don't take many naps anyways. Your body may be telling you something.
Hope this helps.

You should be napping for about 30 minutes. Any nausea you feel after waking up should go away after about 5 minutes. Any longer than that you should see a doctor.

It might have nothing to do with sleep, and just a coincidence that you have felt it at those times after a nap.
Have you eaten right before the naps?
