i think that she needs to do what is best for her and the baby even if tht means leaving but giving visitation rights

Her first concern should be for her son and what kind of environment is he being raised in. If there is constant fighting or arguing it not only effects she and her boyfriend but it hurts her son in other ways. Yes he is young, but this sort of life is not good for him and it might cause him problems later on. She needs to realize that just because you love someone doesn't mean that it's the best place for she and her son to be.

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink. I hate to put it what way but as a guy who in the past couldn't see the trees through the forest I can say that all your good intentions will most likely fall on deaf ears. You might make a difference in the long run but in the interim your efforts will just bring you heart ache. BTW - TY for caring for her, the world needs more people like you!

First of all she would have to be the one to make any major changes. If she gets tired of the fighting then she will probably leave him! Why are they fighting -is it over the new guy? She needs to settle down with one man and consider the child!

She should find someone with a secure job that loves kids and is ready to settle down.
That's going to be really hard though because the number of men who want to walk into a ready made family is very low.
Best bet is to find a nerd that she can stand to look at. The cool guys aren't going for that ready made family scene.

It really doesn't matter what we think, it's obvious that she doesn't want to leave her boyfriend.
