Hughes 500D - and that is 100% certain.

TC (Theodore Calvin) mostly flew a Hughes 500D. The Hughes has 5 blades and they rotate very fast. The D model has a horizontal fin on the tail rotor. The C model has a diagonal fin. He may have also flown a Bell 206. Bells have 2 blades and they rotate much slower.

Of course there were also scenes from the Veit Nam days, but Island Hoppers used the Hughes.
