The Frontline spray I have is safe for dogs, cats, puppies and kittens. I bought it for dogs, but it doesn't say "Frontline for dogs" on the label or anything. Just check your label, it will tell you what it's safe for.

I am a Vet Tech, and I know for a fact that K-9 Frontline Plus and Top Spot (the ones where you apply on the skin with the tubes) will kill cats if applied to them. The dosage is different for them, Double check with your veterinarian about using frontline formulated for dogs on a cat! Double check into the Frontline spray, I believe that is for both dogs and cats.

The Frontline spray can be used on dogs and cats.

Frontline Plus & Top Spot will not kill a cat, however unless your cat is 20# or more don't use the dog dosage on a cat, use the cat formula. If your cat is 20# or more the small dog formula is safe to use. This can be double checked by contacting the company (Merial)

I would only use the cat Frontline on a dog. I have heard about a cat that died from the wrong one. Realize that it the medication is based on weight.
