If its just a few pimples that are not always there, I suggest simply washing your face morning and night, but at night use a night cream. You dont really need fancy brands or what not just a mild soap and face cream and your good to go! this always works for me and my face is virtually always pimple free

Hello Curious, It is hard to say. Everyone has different skin conditions (oily, dry or oily in some areas of face only, and how bad is the break out of pimples). This makes it hard to give good advice but i do know that your sure way of getting rid of them in a week or so (depending on the amount of acne) is to make an appt. with a dermatalogist As Soon As Possible. 1st thing is to find out from your insurance company if they will cover a visit to a Dermatalogist . If they will then ask them what Doctors are in your insurance net work and ask for phone #'s (if the answer is no then just look in the phone book. Make phone calls on Monday and ask if they have any cancellations and that you need to see a Dermatalogist immediatly. A dermatalogist will be able to recommend, or prescribe a medicine for your condition. The dermatalogist might even give you some samples of what they prescribed to you. After the visit you will have a good sense of relief. Good Luck.

If you have sensitive skin, I would avoid the toothpaste idea (some toothpastes have harsh ingredients/chemicals that may cause a bad reaction). I once did that and it inflamed the area and it was red for a while. Go to the store and get a acne spot treatment in a cream or gel (make sure you are not using any bar soap on your face unless it's a facial cleanser bar, other than that--you should only be using a facial cleanser cream/astringent and moisturizer if you want for clear complexion). You can decide on the brand: Neutrogena, Clean & Clear and Clearasil are popular pimple preventors/ vanishers.

A new product is called the Zeno Ance clearing device. It is more expensive that just a regular cream but it really does work, without using chemicals or a topical cream. They can now be found at your local Walgreens
Good luck!

wash your face in oatmeal soap for a couple of weeks this is how I got over my acne when I was a teenager! You can get it at GNC! Nutrogenia soap works well too! Watch the chocolete and fat intake and avoid fried foods and get plenty of sleep and you should be cleared up in no time! GOOD LUCK!

Hi Curious_S,
try tea tree oil-health food stores. I've also heard white tooth paste overnight but I'm not sure if this one. Be sure you wash face with Netrogena before putting anything on.
Have a good day!
