I had vicoden when I was pregnant with my second child because of kidney stones my obgyn said it was fine since I was already 36 weeks pregnant. I'm 22 and my wisdom teeth are impacted which are going to be removed I actually had to wait till my second was born to get them removed!! so I know how you feel! hope you feel better soon! I just used oraljel during pregnancy or I would take Tylenol for pain which was just fine with the Oraljel and also would use clove oil which would help more when I had really severe pain

If the other stuff isn't working you might see if you can go to a natural food store and find something called "Teething Tablets". I've seen it in a couple pharmacies too, like Osco or CVS (on the East Coast). It's meant for toddlers who are teething, but having wisdom teeth come in is basically the same thing, just 20 years later.

Vicodin.. And your Pregnant! Woooooo... Your doctor, is who i'd be questioning! Thats a very harsh drug for a pregnant woman to be on. It's a narcotic, for crap sakes! And highly addictive... EVEN for your unborn child. ALSO, Vicodin, is rated as a Category C drug to the FDA. Which means... the FDA doesnt know how harmful it is on unborn children! DO YOU REALLY WANT TO BE TAKING THAT CHANCE!!

As far as your wisdom teeth are concerned... thats a tough one. See your local dentist, and let him give you an exam. I will tell you this, most doctors/dentist wont touch you when your pregnant, without your OB/GYN consent first. We always call 'your' OB/GYN personally, when a woman comes in with dental needs..Especially when it comes to extractions. And if your problem is in fact, your wisdom teeth and they'll need to come out. Then we op, to wait it out till the baby is born, before removing the teeth. It's just safer that way.

You really need to talk to BOTH your dentist and OB/GYN.

**Double check, on the Vicodin... I sure as hell wouldnt be taking it while i was pregnant!!

Visit your dentist Monday and confirm that it's your wisdom teeth by x-ray. Another possibility could be an infected root canal, which a friend of mine had when she had a lot of pain on the side of her jaw, and her face got swollen. She, too, had to bear the pain with only a Rx of Vicodin to help.

some people do not recieve the expected outcomes their looking for with pain meds. some people have adverse reaction causing more pain instead or relieving pain. you should try to take some advil or motrin to decrease some of the swelling in your mouth. do not drink alcohol with your medications it could make it worse. If you can't take it anymore call the ER and see if there is a oral surgeon on call that can help you if not call a different hospital. have someone drive you because you could pass out trying to tolerate your pain. good luck

Take some Advil (Ibuprofen). Dentists usually recommend a higher dosage.

Sorry :( The enamel fairy won't come %. it up as a results of fact this is too massive and heavy. The enamel fairy can in ordinary terms take small tooth as a results of fact she is fairly small and does not bypass to the gymnasium.

You better check if you should be taking Vicodin if you are that far along. That sounds not quite right. I'd check with a pharmacist ASAP.
