Use Vaseline and Carmex. Also, don't lick your chapped lips. You might want to take and old tooth brush and exfoliate them to get the dead skin off of them as well. Good luck.

A good thing is Desitin diaper rash cream. Sounds gross, but works great. When I was a little girl, I had chapped lips & looked Like Ronald McDonald!!! They were cracked & bleeding. It was awful. My mom put the cream on at night & they were completely healed in a week & a half.

Now I use the Blistex in the green tube. I have one by my bed, in my purse, by the couch, in the bathroom, in the kitchen & on my keychain. I have not had chapped lips since I was seven.

Also, DO NOT lick your lips!!!!!! The saliva DRIES them out WAY worse than if you left them alone.

I also play the clarinet and I swear by vitamin e oil. Buy the capsules at your local drugstore and poke a hole through one and rub the oil on your lips. It's great. Note: It's probably best to do this before you go to bed.

I swear the best stuff ever is caramex. It may not taste so nice, but if you put it on overnight, in the morning your lips will feel so much better.
