I know it's a mix breed, so please do not tell us that we are getting a mutt..... we know. We would like to locate a litter in Ohio. Hopefully we can get them from someone with a loving/clean home. The last place we went to was a complete dump.... it seemed they just want to make money... please help... we want to buy our dog from someone who really cares about the dogs... even though they are mixed breeds

why don't you try your local SPCA....should be lots of small dogs there.
if a person is breeding a "multipoo" not a good breeder at all,
try here
www.petfinder.com (no Breeders allowed)

Good choice, but why not get a Poodle or a Maltese so you KNOW what you are getting???????????? ANYONE who breeds these dogs is doing it for the money. Why else would they do it???????? Not to get a show pup to keep. Not to improve the breed. Money is the issue for them. And since no good breeder would allow a good dog to be used in a mutt breeding, these puppies are coming from PET QUALITY parent, and RARELY do the people get health clearances on the parents.

Just some food for thought. Al least you are not getting it from a dump.

You will probably have to look in newspapers, since there is not a listing of these type breeders like on AKC. It is VERY SAD that the dirty people were on Petfinder.

Why not go rescue a mutt instead? These dogs are not guaranteed not to shed, to be hypoallergenic, or to be in any kind of good health. Because these designer dogs are so in demand, health screenings and ethics have gone out the window. I commend you on walking away from the first place and I'll give you some information on what to look for if you decide that a rescued puppy isn't right for you. Good luck to you.
