I personally think any rational human being who believes in heaven and hell and walking on water is pretty cazy....and there is no evidence to back it up....so why believe it?

Why get angry at those who believe? Can't they have an opinion.

How interesting. Jesus Himself said that we who follow Him would be called crazy by those who don't. I know it's certainly not the first time this prophecy has been fulfilled, and doubt it'll be the last -- especially on this site!

There is evidence; you simply don't accept it. Yes, I am a rational human being -- well, as rational as any human can be. I don't believe in God because I was brought up that way. There are a lot of things my parents taught me that I no longer accept. I've made my own choices. I personally don't like the word 'believe' because it's so hazy and wispy. I prefer the word "know." I know God exists and I know Him personally. He has healed me in ways I could not heal myself. I tried; it didn't work. When He did it, it worked. I have seen Him heal others -- not in some sideshow service with music and lights to work on our emotions, but in a quiet place where He came to visit -- and have seen evidence of these healings. These were things no human could make happen. I'll tell you about some of these things if you want. Email me by clicking on the name under the grey smiley box over there.

I love and serve the one true living God. I call Him 'God' or 'Father,' but other names He goes by are Yahweh, Jehovah (an earlier mistranslation of Yahweh,) El Shaddai, Elohim, and many others. I hope you can come to know Him, too.

Probably you haven't read the Bible properly. I would suggest you do this to clear all your doubts. Yes I do believe in the God I was brought up to believ in (Jehovah, as shown in Psalms 83:18). I do not believe in a burning hell, but I believe all righteous humans will ive forever on a paradise earth. Read the Bible and you will find evidence. Or else if you need assistance mail me up and I will show you the evidence!!!

Ok, so I am "cazy". Just remember, you can't have it both ways. You can't denounce God to anyone that will listen and then pray to him when things go wrong. That seems to the way it is with most. So if it's so crazy to believe in him that YOU don't
cry to him when someone you love is very ill or hurt,
don't bargain with Him when it's YOU that is sick or hurt,
don't turn your back on Him and then expect him to listen when it's convenient for you

I believe there must be something such as God because every tribe of mankind has a belief in a afterlife or a spirit world.
Realize the bible is only mans account of what they believe is true as I know men we are all prone to exaggerate.

i am a rational thinking person, working in the medical field. i have raised 3 beautiful children and yes i believe in God and Jesus as my savior, in heaven and hell and Jesus walkingon water, because what is written in the bible is the proof to back it up. 1 Corinthians 1:18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

It's called FAITH....some things have to be believed to be seen. I do believe in the God I was raised to believe in, only I worship in a different religion. I converted to Catholicism. It's like this: Wouldn't you rather believe and find out He is not true, that NOT to believe and find out He is?....
