I have very light skin, brown/black hair, very dark brown eyes, and black eyebrows. I just got a semi permanent hair color in light reddish brown. I was wondering if in order for it to look good, i have to color my eyebrows to that same color. Can anyone help??

you dont have to dye it the same color but maybe just lighten them up a little to like a brown instead of black

I have the same thing, dark brown/black hair and black eyebrows. But I recently died my hair like a light brown with some blonde and I know this sounds stupid and maybe dangerous, but I lightened my eyebrows with peroxide on a toothbrush everynight, and my eyebrows look great with the light hair. But if u do this, dont get it in your eyes. And once the color changes slowly but changing put on the peroxide everyother night so they dont turn tooo light.

More than likey the hair color (especially semi permanent) will not lighten your hair much. My hair is almost black and unless I use permanent hair color, it does nothing. Just leave your brows alone. I was a redhead for about 6 years with dark eyebrows and noone ever said anything to or about me! Lol

Your eyebrows should never be the same color as your hair (unless you have black hair)...they should be one to two shades darker. So, you may just want to leave them as is. Just look around at people next time you are out...you will notice that people's eyebrows are naturally a bit darker than their hair.

Yes you should. It looks so tacky when I see people with red hair and black eyebrows. I just got my hair colored a golden bronze and I got my eyebrows done that same color too.

i think u should leave your eyebrows the color they are. usually, w/natural hair, the eyebrows are several shades darker than your hair. so, black eyebrows will look natural w/ reddish brown hair. believe me, it would look weird if you lightened them.

you can color your eyebrows...but dont use the color that you put on your hair....go to the local beauty supply store and buy a special product just for your eyebrows...

you have to go to a salon to do this, you cant do it at home the color they put on the brow is not as strong as normal hair color, you can make your eye brows fall out doing it with regular hair color and damange the folicle so they wont gro w back

Wow, you're in a pickle. Heres a thought! Try that blue-black color eyeliner. I guess maybe its called "Navy Blue". I hope Aunt Betty doesn't have to worry about her appearance in Heaven. She is going to Heaven, right?
